The biggest increase in lockdown crime came in April, when Cardiff saw a 164% increase in anti-social behaviour. Cardiff saw a large fall in theft from the person during December, when it fell by 78% compared to December in 2019. Cardiff saw consistent falls in the crime rate of several types of crime during every month of its Coronavirus lockdown, including bicycle theft, criminal damage and arson, and theft from the person.
