This has been calculated using CrimeRate's crime risk scoring, which takes typical crime severity into account for each crime category, and adjusts each crime type's totals before adding them up so that, for instance, bicycle theft and shoplifting are not given the same consideration as robbery or violence and sexual offences.
The next most dangerous location is Belfast City, and Metropolitan Newtownabbey comes in as third most dangerous.
The locations with low crime risk scores start with Bangor which ranks as the safest area in Northern Ireland, followed up by Craigavon and Aghacommon in second place.
